ATTITUDE You are expected to maintain a positive attitude towards learning. Bennet's Academy has been opened specially to help you, and so you are expected to appreciate that. Do not swear or speak rudely to members of staff; they are here to help you, so give them some respect. If you act positively towards staff, and indeed your peers, then you will be treated well in return.
BEHAVIOUR Keep your behaviour appropriate. Work well in lessons and complete the set tasks. Be kind to your peers; bullying will not be tolerated. If you disrupt the learning of others, then you will be sent to the PSU and dealt with accordingly; please note that students who are sent to the Pupil Support Unit are reported to Senior Management, and either the Headmaster or Headmistress will speak to you. Do not use your abilities selfishly, or to provoke another student.
CLASSES You are expected to take a minimum of 8 classes. You can sign up for these classes at Reception, and you are expected to turn up to the lessons if you sign up for them. Classwork will be completed to the required standard, and homework will be handed in on time. You are expected to maintain a positive attitude and behaviour in classes.
DORMITORIES You are not to enter anyone elses dormitory without permission from Senior Management. Lights will go out by 10pm at the very latest. Keep your dormitories tidy. You will share your dormitory with two other people. Dormitories will be assigned as follows:
